new swap announcement!

hi all, it’s swap time again…yay!  i just posted in our flickr group, the vintage tea room a new swap announcement:   ar-TEA swap🙂 

sign-up officially begins TODAY 8/15/07 & runs thru friday, 8/31/07. this is open to anyone who wants to SWAP!  you may either sign-up here or if you have flickr, you can sign up in our group. 

here are the swap details:

YOU create artwork with some sort of tea element or inspiration in it. your artwork can be any medium (paper, fabric, jewelry, polymer clay, found objects, etc>>>whatever your li’l heart desires & what you have time for)…examples could be: paper or fabric atc, 4×4 collage, charm bracelet or necklace, small quilt, or altered art such as this li’l number that i made recently:

flex those creative muscles of yours!  i know that you will create something oh-so-TEA-rrific!

just keep in mind that there must be some sort of TEA reference, okey dokey? & the size of your artwork, well, that’s entirely up to you, but just remember that the larger the art piece, the higher the shipping cost…

this will be a one -to-one swap. but unlike our previous swap, which was a “domino effect”, you will be just partnered with one person, who in turn will be your partner. thought that would be a nice change…

if this sounds like fun & is doable for you, i will need the following info:

1) pls. leave a comment, “i wanna swap!”

2) then send a flickr mail to mainer at heart06 (that’s me)  or to my email follow_your_bliss07@hotmail.com with:
your full name, mailing address, email, your partner preference (domestic, international or doesn’t matter) & your color preferences (so that your partner will keep that in mind in creating her artwork for you).

[pls. note that your addies (snail & email) will not be shared, sold or distributed. at the end of our swaps, we have typically sent “thank you” favors to our swap particpants, whose addresses we know.]

all swap packages to be mailed out to your assigned partners by monday, 9/18/07. if you are running late, pls. contact your assigned partner.

in the unforseen event that you find you are not able to complete the swap, pls. i would appreciate a heads up via flickr mail & i will notify your assigned partner & let her know that i will be the “sub” partner.

any questions, concerns or if i have left anything out, pls. do not hesitate to contact me via flickr mail.
