light is the prompt for this week’s imt.

my photographer friend carol believes that the ideal times to shoot is  late afternoon or twilight.   i can see why.  there is something magical about the way the light hits at those times.  the light is softer, easier on the eyes, more sensual than the bright light of midday.   

i shot this snap in the field beside our house.  it actually belongs to my aunt.  the light was so amazing & i couldn’t resist picking up those sunny black-eyed susans. 

wildflowers & twilight…ahhh, food for the soul.
