wings

is the challenge for wednesday stamper this week…here are a couple of mostly stamped collages that i made while i was at a stamping party this afternoon at crackerbox palace (a local stamp place i’ve been frequenting lately)…i didn’t actually have my own supplies at this thing (because i didn’t know i was supposed to bring them>>>this was my first invite to this affair), so i borrowed many stamps & inks from the gals at the party… i don’t usually use mustard yellow ink with coral pink, old olive & caramel inks (a lady by the name of “roma” let me borrow her stampin’ up inks)…but i think it kinda worked…
here’s another winged entry…after the party, when i was back in my studio at home, i added a little bit more distress (brown) ink, a green bling & stamped wings to go on the cherub’s back…i also wanted to stamp the quote, art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time… woops! i accidentally stamped the quote upside down, so naturally, i decided to make it look it was meant to be that way, lol! oh well, not all my attempts are gonna be masterpieces ya know! let’s go see what others have done over at wednesday stamper… Posted by Picasa
